Arts Cabins Project
Volunteer
There are many opportunities to help the Arts Cabins Project with either your
TIME, MATERIALS OR BOTH.
We can use anyone who is handy with a hammer, paint brush, or any other maintanence tools.
The Arts Cabins will accept GOOD QUALITY FABRICS, ART SUPPLIES OR EQUIPMENT for future classes. We are currently in need of ladders, step stools, and asst. tools for maintenance. (hammers, screw drivers, wrenches...and blacksmithing tools and AVILS!) We are also looking for 2 large capacity propane tanks.
You can also VOLUNTEER TO TEACH a class or workshop at the Arts Cabins. Our interests are varied, and would like to hear from you as to your field of expertise, and class/workshop description, teaching credentials and past teaching venues.. Besides all of the "arts" which we have studio space for at this time, possible classes would be in the field of environment, literature, drama and music. You may either donate your time and the tuition goes back into the project, or you may use the studio space as A PRIVATE ARTIST PRESENTING YOUR OWN CLASS OR WORKSHOP at a nominal fee.
All artists and craft persons teaching for the project as a donation, stay at the Arts Cabins without charge while teaching.

Summer 2012 volunteer projects:
New wood shed for Upper Cabin.
Install an insulated box w/ accessible lid for water shut off, Upper Cabin. Either time in installing the box, or building the box is appreciated.
yard work: cleaning old brush, planting, cutting grass.
trail maintenance. We also appreciated any hanging flower baskets as these we can keep away from our woodland friends?
Possible donations?
outdoor picnic tables or benches for students
used spinning wheels in working order
any blacksmithing tools and equipment especially anvils.
lithography or etching presses in good working order or easily repaired.
